(Warning: TL;DR)
Due to a combination of my laptop breaking so that I have to get on a desktop that faces the room (for those of you who don't know my mother is batshit insane and I'm not supposed to be on any site where I can contact people and if she saw my art she'd burn it. Again.) and that I'm new on this account and therefore people aren't showing me much attention (boo-hoo.) I haven't been on here much at all. Therefore, I apologize for not looking at anyone's art, commenting, thanking, and all of the general ass-patting that goes along with having a dA account.
Also, Time Warner Cable is apparently about to start something where they send a copy of internet site visits with the cable bill, and in that case I can't get on at all. But, because along with that they are starting rate limits and we would be placed in the "high-tier" internet users and paying way more than we are now, my mother will probably switch our ISP.

And the TAPPS results from the state competition came in and the art the results were all completely arbitrary, save for possibly the on-site drawings. It was a complete mess there, people were putting art in the wrong categories and there was no one to go through and check before the judges came through. Also, all of the art was stacked on top of each other because there wasn't even enough table space. Baw.

I need to start entering more art contests.

I've been working on my writing a lot lately (and on getting a job so I can get the fuck away from my mother the minute I turn 18) so I haven't been drawing anything. It sucks.

I still won't know if I got into that arts magnet school for about another 64 days. I'm nervous as hell. I need to do more direct observation drawings to appease their arts director at my interview. Fun.
